My Story…

Hi, I'm Adam Knights — a graphic designer based in Norwich, England, specialising in print, digital, branding, and publication design.

Work life

I've been working as a graphic designer since 2008, spending nearly ten years at a publication company. During this time, I designed for a wide range of magazines, including feature articles and adverts for well-known companies across the world, alongside various promotional projects.

During this period, I also began taking on freelance design projects in my spare time and entered online logo competitions, winning several. This led to new connections, many of whom I still work with today.

My next move was to Archant in a part-time design role, as my freelance work had built up steadily alongside it. Here, I worked on branding and marketing projects for both local and national companies.

After freelancing part-time alongside full-time employment for over six years, I made the move to freelance full-time — proud to now work with clients locally and internationally. I bring nearly two decades of industry experience, a keen eye for detail, and a genuine passion for turning ideas into polished, professional design work.

Outside of work, I'm a keen Norwich City supporter, enjoy running and keeping fit (I've completed three Marathons), and love travelling with my wife and trips to the theatre.

How I Work

A clear process means a smoother project and a better result. Here's how I work.w

Research

My process begins with research — understanding your business objectives and your audience to determine where your brand sits in the market and identify the personality your audience will connect with most.

Design

From there, I draft design concepts that reflect your brand personality — exploring colours, formats, and fonts that communicate your brand identity. I then narrow in on the strongest ideas and send a selection over for your feedback.

Develop

After taking your feedback on board, I refine the designs you'd like to move forward with, adjusting them until you're completely happy with the result.

Delivery

Once approved, you'll complete payment and I'll release the final designs, ready to use — packaged with all the assets and art files you need, formatted for both web and print.
